Senior Architect - Education Lead

Conrad Consulting have partnered with our longstanding clients for a Senior level hire to join their Sussex based practice taking a lead on projects within the Education sector\n\nThis role will be suitable for an Architect with 5 + years experience working on Education projects – preferably within the DfE framework, to join their expanding practice in the heart of Brighton. Being a key part of client and end user engagement across multiple Education Schemes\n\nThe role will naturally develop into a Regional lead position over a period of time or should you have the right experience to undertake that level of responsibility already then you be able to slot into a ready made lead role\n\nKey Responsibilities\n\nLead the design and delivery of large-scale education schemes \n\t\nProduce high-quality technical and design outputs across all RIBA stages \n\t\nBuild and maintain strong client relationships through confident communication and presentation skills \n\t\nCollaborate effectively with consultants, contractors and wider project teams \n\t\nLead, Mentor and support junior architects and technicians \n\t\nContribute to design innovation, technical excellence and best practice within the team \n\t\nStay up to date with industry legislation, standards and emerging technologies \n\t\nHelp support the strategic growth and development of the industrial and manufacturing sector team \n\nRequirements\n\nARB/RIBA qualified Architect \n\t\nMinimum 5+ years’ post-qualification experience within Education projects\n\t\nProven track record delivering complex Education schemes – Preferably within DFE framework \n\t\nStrong front end design skills \n\t\nExcellent Revit skills with working knowledge of AutoCAD and BIM Level 2 \n\t\nExperience across other sectors would also be beneficial\n\t\nStrong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills \n\t\nPassion for sustainable and innovative design solutions \n\nWhat’s on Offer\n\nSalary: Circa £60,000 – Salary can be higher should you be more experienced \n\t\nHybrid/agile working arrangements\n\t\nCompressed working week \n\t\nGenerous benefits package\n\nThis is an excellent opportunity to join one of the countries established practices, taking a step into a lead position working on projects that will have a great impact on communities and contribute to the education sector across the South.\n\nIf you are interested please reach out to Jimmy Penrose at Conrad Consulting or click to apply now
